ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Kelsey Hall recorded two home runs, including a grand slam, and brought in eight runners to lead the Broncos to a 13-2 run-rule victory against New Mexico, Thursday night.

The Broncos (18-11, 5-1 Mountain West) opened the game strong with a three-run homer by Hall, putting them up 3-0 in the top of the first.

In the second inning, two runners scored on an error to increase the Broncos' lead to 5-0.

The Lobos (16-22, 3-7) responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame, cutting Boise State's lead to 5-2.

An RBI-double from Sydney Groves followed by a RBI-single from Abby Bumcrot put the Broncos up 7-2 in the third.

Hall recorded her fourth RBI of the night off a double to center field in the fifth inning.

A home run by Alycia Flores and grand slam from Hall earned the mercy-rule victory for Boise State.

Taylor Caudill (8-6) recorded the win in the circle for the Blue and Orange.

"It was great to be back on the field competing after almost two weeks off," said head coach Justin Shults. "We got a solid start from Taylor in the circle and Kelsey Hall came up clutch for us."
