Up Now: Boise State Soccer (1-0-1) is set to host No. 11 BYU (3-0-0) at Boas Soccer Complex, Saturday at 7 p.m. MT.

Home Opener Sellout: Single-game tickets for the match are sold out and season ticket sales have been paused until after the match against BYU. To ensure season ticket holders' best chances at having a spot in the bleachers, it's recommended to arrive at least one hour early.

Location and Parking: Free parking and shuttle pickup are located at 1218 W. Belmont St., with every fan receiving a free small popcorn voucher for taking the shuttle.

Last Time Out: The Broncos won 3-2 against North Dakota Sunday, Aug. 20. Kenzie MacMillan sparked a scoring surge for the Broncos in the first half when she knocked a shot from just outside the penalty box in the 27th minute. Less than a minute later, Boise State extended its lead when Carly Cross knocked in a cross from Morgan Stone. Moments after, MacMillan found the back of the net again with an assist from Cross, after being denied on a shot from close range, to put the Broncos up 3-0 in a time span of 2:40.

Marquee Matchup: The Blue and Orange are set to host No. 11 BYU for the 2023 home opener. The Broncos have faced the Cougars just once all-time, having lost 5-1 on Nov. 15, 2019, in Provo, Utah. The matchup with BYU is the first of five power-five opponents for Boise State this season, with matches against Arizona State (Aug. 31), Arizona (Sept. 3), Oregon State (Sept. 10) and Oregon (Sept. 14) during the 2023 campaign.

Scouting the Cougars: The Cougars enter the match ranked 11th by the United Soccer Coaches Association with a 3-0-0 record after winning 2-0 against Long Beach State Thursday, Aug. 24.

Conference Honors: Forward Kenzie MacMillan was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week. She earned the honor for her three-goal performance over the weekend, becoming the first Bronco to score three goals in the first two matches since Raimee Sherle in 2019. In the match against North Dakota State, the junior put home her own rebound in the 50th minute after being denied on a tough angle from the right side, scoring the Broncos' lone goal of the match. Against North Dakota, she scored the first goal of the match on a shot from just outside the 18-yard box in the 27th minute. Moments after a goal from Carly Cross, MacMillan knocked in her second goal of the match to put the Broncos up 3-0. The last Bronco to score twice in a half was Hayden Wilsey at CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 11, 2022.
