Broncos Visit Tempe to Face Arizona State

Up Now: Boise State Soccer (1-1-1) is set to travel to Tempe, Ariz., to face Arizona State Thursday at 11 a.m. MT.
Last Time Out: The Broncos lost 4-1 against No. 11 BYU on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Boas Soccer Complex. The Cougars found a goal in the second minute of the match and extended their lead early in the second half 2-0. Boise State cut the deficit 2-1 when a cross by Morgan Stone found the feet of Michaela Justiniani, who put it past the BYU keeper. The Cougars went on to score two more goals to put it out of reach of the Broncos.
Scouting the Sun Devils: Arizona State enters the match with a 3-0-1 record after shutting out UTEP 2-0 on Sunday, Aug. 27. The Boise State-Arizona State series is split 1-1. The Broncos hold a 1-0 advantage when in Tempe, Ariz.
Junior Magic: Junior forwards Carly Cross and Kenzie MacMillan and junior defender Michaela Justiniani account for all five goals the Broncos have scored so far this season. Cross scored her first goal of the year in the Broncos' 3-2 win against North Dakota on Aug. 20. MacMillan scored her first goal of the season against North Dakota State on Aug. 17, and knocked in two goals against North Dakota. Justiniani's first goal of the season, and her collegiate career, came in the Broncos' loss to BYU on Aug. 26.
