Brown Earns Gold at Spokane Indoor Challenge

BOISE, Idaho – Janiah Brown garnered a first-place finish in the women's 800-meter to highlight a split weekend for Boise State track and field.
Brown finished with a time of 2:10.48 to win the Spokane Indoor Challenge, with Abby Stamper followed with a time of 2:15.21 for sixth.
Anass Mghari finished second in the men's 800m, clocking a time of 1:54.15. He finished just 0.44 behind San Jose State's Christopher Malone.
Boise State's distance runners competed on the other end of the state at the UW Indoor Preview.Tom Graham-Marr notched a podium finish in the men's 3,000-meter as he placed third with a time of 8:01.98. Josh Dickinson was the next Bronco finisher, coming in fifth at 8:07.94.
Kaiya Robertson was the top Bronco finisher in the women's 3,000m as she came in 19th with a time of 9:28.02. Lauren Larson kept the trend and finished first among the Broncos in the mile at 21st in 5:00.16.
