
Broncos Come Back to Earn Victory over Cowgirls

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Boise State women's soccer came back after trailing at halftime to earn a 2-1 victory over Wyoming, Sunday afternoon.
Wyoming (4-6-5, 2-2-2 MW) scored the first goal of the match to gain the early lead in the 20th minute. Taylor Brook headed the ball into the goal after a throw in from Alyssa Bedard.
In the 49th minute, Carly Cross tied the match for Boise State (11-2-2, 4-0-2 MW) as she snuck a shot into the bottom left corner of the goal. Avery McBride was credited with the assist.
Kayla Soderstrom's goal in the 63rd minute gave the Broncos the lead. She gained the ball from a blocked shot attempt from McBride and blasted it into the left side of the goal.
Goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw recorded five saves off eight shots on goal.
