Land Lifts Broncos to Eighth-Straight Home Victory

BOISE, Idaho – Jayla Land led Boise State women's soccer to a 1-0 win over Air Force, Thursday night.
 
Land lifted the Broncos (12-2-2, 5-0-2 Mountain West) to victory in the sixth minute as she headed the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal. The game-winner came off  a corner kick taken by Jillian Anderson.
 
Boise State's victory over Air Force (5-6-3, 1-4-2 MW) keeps the Broncos first in the conference standings, tied with Colorado State. It also marked the eighth-consecutive home win for the Broncos, tying for second-most in program history.
 
During the match, Genevieve Crenshaw tallied 90 goalkeeper minutes, raising her career total to a school-record 6,195 minutes.
