QUOTABLES
Shawn Garus, head coach- "I'm really pleased with the result tonight. Nevada is a team that has been playing everybody tough day in and day out in Mountain West Conference play, so to come out and jump on them and go up two in the match score was fantastic."
- "I love the team's answer after losing a close third set, coming back and playing probably our best volleyball of the match in the fourth set."
- "I thought Paige was exceptional tonight, really showing a lot of versatility that she can score in a variety of ways. She has a big arm and a lot of size and athleticism that she can hit high and over people, but she also dropped in some off-speed shots and just was doing exactly what her team needed, in addition to how she pours into her teammates with leadership."
- "I thought Annie also was really focused today. She wanted to respond from the tough loss we had last week at Wyoming. So, I thought Annie played with great energy and great intentions. She was great in practice all week. It looked like nobody was going to outwork Annie in preparing for this match tonight."
