- This marks the first season under head coach Pat McCurry. McCurry was previously an assistant with the Broncos from 2016-18, and also served as the head coach at College of Idaho and San Francisco.
- Boise State will compete in this event for the second time in the last three years.
- There will be three women's 5Ks and three men's 8K races. All will be held at Burke Golf Course.
- The Boise State women will run in the blue division race at 8:30 a.m. MT.
- The Boise State men will run in the blue division race at 9:15 a.m.
- The men are coming off of a race victory at the Cougar Classic, where they finished runners in second, third, and fourth individually.
- The women have finished both races of the season in second place.
- Brian Kiprotich and Emily Jobes were named men's and women's athlete of the week for their performances at the Cougar Classic. Kirprotich took second and Jobes finished third in their respective races.
