
Four Broncos Earn All-Region Honors

COLFAX, Wash. – Four Boise State cross country student-athletes earned all-region honors at the 2024 NCAA West Regional, Friday, including three women and one man. Kaiya Robertson (9th, 19:43.9) led the women to a sixth-place team finish, and Joe Hudson (17th, 29:28.8) helped the men secure seventh.

In a field of 262 racers, Robertson stayed with the lead pack for the entire race, covering the six-kilometer course in 19:43.9. This was her sixth-straight top-10 finish and helped her earn all-region honors. Yasmin Marghini (15th, 19:52.7) and Emily Jobes (20th, 20:02.3) trailed close behind, each earning all-region recognition.

Hudson (29:28.8) paced the Boise State men for a third-straight race and earned all-region honors for the second-straight season. Brian Kiprotich and Josh Dickinson followed in 32nd and 35th, respectively.

The NCAA Championship participants will be announced, Saturday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. MT. The top-four regional finishers not on an automatic qualifying or at-large team also earn an individual bid to the championships. Robertson was the fourth-best finisher from a nonqualifying team, while Hudson ranked eighth on the men's side. Both await official confirmation of their spots.
