BOISE, Idaho – Genevieve Crenshaw, Carly Cross, Sophie Drown, Avery McBride, Evva Vail and Jasmine Young were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have played in at least 90% of the team's competitions or started at least 66% of the team's total matches while holding a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or better.

Crenshaw was an All-Mountain West First Team and MW All-Tournament selection, boasting 71 saves and nine shutouts on the season. The goalkeeper has made a significant impact for Boise State, holding the program career records for goals against average (0.83), wins (42), shutouts (29) and goalkeeper minutes played (6,735). Crenshaw is earning a degree in health studies.

Cross, a communication major, was crowned MW Offensive Player of the Year, the first Bronco to do so since Raimee Sherle in 2018. The senior also earned All-MW First Team and MW All-Tournament distinctions as she posted 11 goals and five assists for 27 points on the season. She helped lead Boise State to 16 wins, the second most all-time, by recording a team-high four match-winning goals.

Drown will graduate with a degree in business and has started in all 22 matches this season for the Broncos. She recorded one goal and three assists for five points as a midfielder. Drown notched career-highs in assists (3), shots (32), shots on goal (11) and minutes (1,659) throughout the season.

McBride, a redshirt sophomore majoring in interdisciplinary studies, started in 21 matches this season and recorded six goals and four assists for 16 points. She was honored as a two-time MW Offensive Player of the Week for her multi-goal matches against UC Riverside and Southern Utah, the only Bronco to earn multiple this season.

Vail started in 13 of the 22 matches she appeared in this season as she helped lead the Broncos to 16 victories. The defender helped Boise State keep its opponents to a total of 19 goals allowed, tied for fourth-lowest in program history. Vail also played a role in the Broncos' nine shutouts on the season. The senior is planning on graduating with a degree in health studies.

Young is currently pursuing a master's in business administration and is one of two Broncos on the team with a perfect GPA. The defender was selected to the MW All-Newcomer Team for her performances through her 15 starts in 22 appearances. Like Vail, Young led Boise State in a relentless defense with solid production.
