Broncos Take Down Aggies for Fourth-Straight Victory

LOGAN, Utah – Boise State women's basketball made a season-high 13 shots from long range to defeat Utah State, 73-57, Wednesday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
The win marked the fourth-straight victory for the Broncos (17-8, 8-4 Mountain West), tying their longest win streak of the season.
Natalie Pasco hit five 3-pointers in the contest, finishing with a team-high 15 points. Dani Bayes contributed 14 points off the bench, while Mya Hansen added 11 points and matched her career-high with seven rebounds.
Leading by one at the first quarter media timeout, the Broncos rattled off a 7-0 run to take an 8-point lead. Abby Muse came up huge in the opening frame, recording four points, seven rebounds and two blocks as Boise State led 19-10.
After the Aggies (4-20, 1-12 MW) scored the first two points of the second stanza, Bayes, Hansen and Pasco hit consecutive 3-pointers to extend the Boise State lead to 28-12. Utah State responded with a 7-0 run of its own to cut the lead to single digits, and the Broncos took a 33-24 advantage to the locker room.Â
