BOISE, Idaho – Boise State beach volleyball completed an undefeated weekend by taking down Oregon and UC Davis on the final day of the Boise State Beach Classic, Saturday.

The Broncos (23-8) started off hot against the Ducks (2-15), picking up two straight-set victories on courts two and four to jump out to a 2-0 lead. Sharli O'Neil and Elli Wolthuis solidified the win for the squad, winning 21-13, 21-14 on court five. Oregon managed to secure the final two victories on courts one and three as the dual ended 3-2.

Addison Wolden and Abbie Wolf got the Broncos their first point of the contest against UC Davis, securing a 21-15, 21-12 match on court four. Ava Anderson and Emilia Guerra-Acuña gave the Broncos a 2-0 cushion after storming back from a first-set loss to take a 19-21, 22-20, 15-11 victory on court two.

O'Neil and Wolthuis clinched the dual again for the Broncos, winning in straight sets on court five. Rorianna Chartier and Lily Patock added to the win with a 21-18, 21-13 victory on the third court. The top pairs from both teams battled it out on court one with the Aggies (14-12) claiming a point with a 18-21, 21-15, 16-14 victory.

Notables

Boise State has won 13-straight matches on its home courts, dating back to the 2020 season.
The Broncos maintain a perfect 15-0 all-time record against Oregon and hold a 3-1 advantage over UC Davis.
Addison Wolden set the program record for most wins in a season, claiming her 24th victory in the final dual against the Aggies.
Wolden also tied Kaylee Mejia for the most career wins on the No. 4 court in program history.
Ava Anderson and Emilia Guerra-Acuña (court two), Wolden and Abbie Wolf (court four) and Sharli O'Neil and Elli Wolthuis (court five) finished undefeated on the weekend.
O'Neil and Wolthuis eclipsed the 20-win mark on the season, holding a 21-7 record on the year.
Seven Broncos have reached 20 wins on the year, the most in program history.
O'Neil and Wolthuis also tied Aris Vetter for the most wins on the No. 5 court in a single-season with 21.
The program honored seniors Marlayna Bullington, Rorianna Chartier, Emily Garus, Kaylee Mejia, Sierra Land and Abbie Wolf following the match against UC Davis.

What's Next

The Broncos will compete in the College of Idaho Classic on Tuesday, April 2 in Caldwell, Idaho. Boise State will open the tri-dual with an exhibition match against College of Southern Idaho at 11 a.m. before taking on the Yotes at 3 p.m.
