Broncos Notch Eighth-Straight Win at College of Idaho

CALDWELL, Idaho – Boise State beach volleyball matched its longest winning streak in program history by picking up its eighth-straight victory after defeating College of Idaho 5-0 on Tuesday.

Prior to the victory over the Yotes, the Broncos (24-8) defeated College of Southern Idaho 5-0 in an exhibition contest.

Rorianna Chartier and Lily Patock put the Broncos on the board first in the exhibition contest against the Golden Eagles, racing out a 21-5, 21-6 victory on court two. Mya Jackson and Aris Vetter made the score 2-0 with a straight-set victory on court four and Boise State clinched the victory from the top court after Ava Anderson and Anika Christensen took down College of Southern Idaho's top pair 21-12, 21-13. The Blue and Orange completed the sweep with straight-set victories on court three and five.

Chartier and Patock completed their perfect day with a 21-8, 21-14 win on court two, giving the Broncos an early 1-0 lead over the Yotes. Moments later, Jackson and Vetter closed out a 21-10, 21-13 victory on court four to extend the lead, allowing Sharli O'Neil and Elli Wolthuis to clinch the team's victory from court five. Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land claimed a straight-set victory on court one and Addison Wolden and Abbie Wolf notched a win on court three to complete the Bronco sweep.

Boise State has won eight-straight duals, tied for the longest winning streak in program history.
The College of Idaho Classic featured all three beach volleyball programs from the state of Idaho.

What's Next

Boise State will compete in its final home contests of the season on Wednesday, April 10. The Broncos will take on Saint Mary's at 11 a.m. before facing No. 18 Arizona at 3 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex and will be streamed on the MW Network.
