
Broncos Fall at Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Boise State women's basketball fell to Colorado State in its regular season finale, 64-50, Tuesday night at Moby Arena.

The Rams jumped out to an early 9-4 advantage, but Natalie Pasco scored five-straight points to spur an 8-0 Bronco run. Colorado State responded with seven consecutive points of its own to take a 16-12 lead after the first frame.

Linsey Lovrovich found Trista Hull for a three-point play, but the Rams rattled off another 7-0 run to take a 23-15 advantage. Alyssa Christensen stopped the bleeding with a 3-pointer, followed by consecutive jump shots from Hull and Tatum Thompson as Boise State cut the lead to three at the media timeout. Colorado State outscored the Broncos 7-2 the remainder of the period to take a 32-24 advantage to the locker room.

After exchanging baskets to start the half, the Rams went on a 9-0 run to take a 45-28 lead with 3:40 left in the quarter. The Broncos cut the lead to 10, but McKenna Hofschild converted a three-point play with 4.7 seconds left to give Colorado State a 50-37 advantage entering the final period.
