WHAT'S NEXT: No. 6 Boise State women's basketball will take on No. 11 Utah State in the first round of the 2024 Mountain West Basketball Championship on Sunday, March 10. The game will tip off at 8 p.m. MT in the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., and will be broadcast on the MW Network and 670 KBOI.

THE OPPONENT: The Broncos (19-12, 10-8 MW) and the Aggies (5-24, 2-16 MW) will play in the 6 vs. 11 matchup for the second-straight season - Boise State advanced to the quarterfinals a year ago following a 66-58 victory over Utah State. The Blue and Orange won both of the earlier matchups this season and has won eight of the last nine meetings. The Aggies are led by Cheyenne Stubbs, who leads the teams in points (15.9), rebounds (4.0), assists (1.9) and steals (1.7) per game.

TOURNAMENT SUCCESS: With a 17-6 record at the MW Tournament, Boise State holds the best winning percentage among conference teams. The Broncos have won five conference tournaments since joining the MW, tied with New Mexico for the most in the league.

COACHING ACCOLADES: Head coach Gordy Presnell has 18 wins at the MW Tournament, tied with Elaine Elliot (Utah, 1999-2010) for the second-most in league history. Presnell also has a chance to become the 30th NCAA women's basketball head coach (15th among active coaches) to reach 750 career victories, entering Sunday's contest with a 749-366 career record.

BEYOND THE ARC: Sharpshooter Natalie Pasco leads the MW in total 3-pointers (75) and is second in 3-pointers per game (2.4) and 3-point percentage (39.7%). The Danville, Calif., native, who is seventh in program history with 75 made 3-pointers on the year, has hit five or more 3-pointers in a game five times on the season, while teammate Dani Bayes has done so once. The Broncos are third among MW teams in 3-point percentage, shooting 34.4% from long range.

NOT IN OUR HOUSE: As a team, the Broncos are ranked second nationally with 6.2 blocks per game. Individually, Abby Muse is ranked fourth in the nation in total blocks (87) and ninth in blocks per game (2.8). The senior is chasing her own single-season block record of 93 that she set last season.
