WHAT'S NEXT

Boise State beach volleyball will compete in the Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship, April 19-21, in Houston, Texas. The Broncos (28-11, 6-1 SLC) earned a No. 2 seed in the double-elimination tournament and will take on No. 7 McNeese State at 10:30 a.m. MT in the first round on Friday. The SLC champion will earn an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship.

SCOUTING THE FIELD

The Broncos finished 6-1 in SLC play during the regular season, falling only to No. 1 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a tightly-contested 3-2 dual on March 23. Five out of Boise State's six conference victories were sweeps with the squad finishing 31-4 in individual matches against conference foes.

WRAPPING UP THE REGULAR SEASON

The Blue and Orange enter postseason competition following the most successful regular season in program history. Boise State won a program-record 28 duals, including two wins over ranked opponents (No. 20 Tampa, No. 17 Arizona). The Broncos also extended their home-winning streak to 15-straight duals dating back to the 2020 season.

ALL-CONFERENCE

Boise State's entire starting lineup received recognition on the SLC's All-Conference teams, marking the first time a team's entire lineup was represented in the SLC's postseason accolades. Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land (No. 1 pair), Addison Wolden and Abbie Wolf (No. 4 pair) and Sharli O'Neil and Elli Wolthuis (No. 5 pair) earned first-team honors, while Ava Anderson and Emilia Guerra-Acuña (No. 2 pair) and Rorianna Chartier and Lily Patock (No. 3 pair) garnered second-team recognition. Bullington and Land were named the SLC Pair of the Year, while Bullington was also named the SLC Newcomer of the Year.

RUN IT BACK

Competing at the SLC Championship for the first time, last year's Bronco squad finished as the runner-up. Entering the tournament as the No. 3 seed, Boise State worked its way to the championship dual, falling 3-1 to the top-seeded Islanders.

LAST TIME OUT

The Broncos ended a jam-packed regular season with a plethora of duals. Boise State wrapped up its home schedule with a pair of 3-2 decisions over Saint Mary's and No. 17 Arizona. The squad then traveled to Seattle, Wash., for the Alki Beach Invitational, finishing 2-3 on the weekend.
