Broncos Lose in Extra Innings to Wolf Pack
 
RENO, Nev. – Boise State lost 3-2 in eight innings at Nevada in Mountain West softball, Saturday.
 
The winning run came on a home run by Taryn Jenkins against Boise State (27-20, 7-8 MW) reliever Taylor Caudill (15-12).
 
The Broncos scored first with a two-out rally in the second. Leah McAnally walked and moved to third on a single by Hollie Farmer. Ashlyn Whalen plated both runners with a double and Boise State led 2-0.
 
Jenna Bloom carried a shutout into the fifth before giving way to Caudill with two Nevada (36-12, 12-6) runners on and one out. Both runners eventually scored to tie the game 2-2.
