BOISE, Idaho – Ten Boise State cross country and track and field student-athletes garnered College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Friday.

Ines Borba, Gabbie Hasskamp, Lauren Larson, Autumn Ost and Kaiya Robertson earned honors for the women's team while Austen Apperson, Josh Dickinson, Joe Hudson, Ollie Newman and Tom Patrick represented the men's side.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and academics.

Apperson collected his first academic honor from CSC after making an appearance at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds (May 22-25), taking home 38th in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase. At the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 9-11), the senior's silver-medal finish in the same event marked the fourth-fastest time in outdoor program history and the highest Boise State conference finish since 2018. The senior is earning a master's of business administration and has a 3.71 GPA.

Borba picked up her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District honor and graduated this year with a kinesiology degree and a 3.98 GPA. The Portugal native competed in the women's 10,000-meter at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds (May 22-25) and placed 40th with a time of 36:04.42.

Dickinson is currently pursuing a master's of business administration and has a 3.57 GPA. He was named to the CSC Academic All-District team for the first time by earning points for the Broncos at the MW Cross Country Championships (Oct. 27) and the NCAA West Regionals (Nov. 10), contributing to third and sixth place team finishes, respectively. Individually, Dickinson was the third Bronco finisher at regionals, placing 27th.

Hasskamp is a sophomore pursuing a degree in health studies and currently has a 3.81 GPA. While earning CSC Academic All-District distinction, she placed top-50 in the west region in the women's indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon. During the indoor season, she recorded a career-best of 3320 points at the MW Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 22-24) to put her 27th in the region. During the outdoor season, Hasskamp recorded another career-best of 4352 points at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 11-13) to rank her 35th in the region.

Hudson earned his first academic honor from CSC as he graduated this year with a masters of business administration and a 3.89 GPA. The senior was named All-MW Cross Country First Team after finishing fifth at the MW Cross Country Championships (Oct. 27). At NCAA West Regionals (Nov. 10), Hudson was the top Bronco finisher for the third time this season as he placed 11th, earning USTFCCCA All-West Region Cross Country honors as well. He was the sole Bronco to compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championships (Nov. 18) and finished 60th, the top Boise State finish on the men's side since 2019.

Larson is currently earning a degree in psychology and has a 3.67 GPA. She picked up her first CSC academic honor by being named 45th in the region for the women's indoor 5,000-meter. Larson ran the event in 17:37.88 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener (Dec. 2), marking a new career-best for the junior.

Ost picked up her first CSC academic honor and is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering with a 3.56 GPA. She was named All-MW Cross Country Second Team selection after placing eighth at the MW Cross Country Championships (Oct. 27), being the top Bronco finisher for the second time this season.

Newman is pursuing a master's of political science and holds a 4.00 GPA. He picked up his first CSC Academic All-District honor while also being named an All-MW selection three times this year. He earned the honor after placing second in the indoor mile, and third in both the indoor distance medley relay and outdoor 1,500-meter at conference championships. This indoor season, Newman became one one of three Bronco men to run a sub-four minute mile while also marking the third-fastest mile time in indoor program history. He also etched his name in the outdoor program record book this season with the fifth-fastest time in the men's 1,500m.

Patrick is earning a master's of business administration with a 3.71 GPA. This marks his first CSC academic honor. Patrick was named to the All-MW Cross Country Second Team following his 14th-place finish at the MW Cross Country Championships (Nov. 10). He also represented the Broncos at the NCAA West Regionals (Nov. 18), placing 24th while also being named to the USTFCCCA All-West Region Cross Country team.

Robertson is a sophomore earning a degree in health studies and currently has a 4.00 GPA. She picked up her first CSC Academic All-District honor following being named a two-time All-MW selection this year. She earned second team honors in cross country following her tenth-place finish at the MW Cross Country Championships (Nov. 10). Robertson's other All-MW honor came after she finished third in the women's indoor mile at the MW Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 22-24), marking the first podium-finish in the event since 2019.
