SAN JOSE, Calif. – Morgan Padour's goal in the 74th minute gave Boise State a 1-1 draw at San Jose State in Mountain West women's soccer, Sunday.

The equalizer started with a corner kick by the Broncos (8-2-1, 1-0-1 MW). After an initial shot was saved, the Spartans (0-7-3, 0-1-1) tried to clear, but Padour corralled the ball in the box among heavy traffic and slipped a shot past the goalkeeper for her fourth goal of the season.
Â
Boise State had multiple chances to take the lead in the first half, including shots that hit a post in the 28th and 44th minutes.
Â
San Jose State scored on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute before the Broncos battled back in a match they dominated statistically. Boise State held a 20-8 advantage in shots and earned 15 corner kicks to just two for the Spartans.

"I am proud of how we dug in to grind out a point," head coach Jim Thomas said. "It wasn't our best showing in many phases. Not all days are diamonds, but in light of being on the road and going down a goal, we showed some excellent moxie."
