BOISE, Idaho – Boise State beach volleyball head coach Allison Voigt announced the 2024 fall schedule, Thursday.
The 2024-25 season marks the third consecutive year that the NCAA has permitted teams to utilize the fall season for competition. Per NCAA rules, competition in the fall will consist solely of pairs tournaments while the spring season will use the traditional dual format.
The Broncos' fall schedule consists of four pairs tournaments. The coaching staff will also send one pair to compete at the AVCA National Pairs Championship in November.
Boise State will start the fall season with two opportunities to qualify an additional pair to the pairs championship. The Broncos will travel to Spokane, Washington from Oct. 12-13 for the AVCA Pacific Northwest Qualifier. Two weeks later, the Broncos will head to Huntington Beach, California for the Surf City Challenge, Oct. 26-27.
Returning to the Treasure Valley, the Blue and Orange will host the third annual City of Trees Classic at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex, Nov. 2-3. The Broncos will compete against pairs from Oregon and Utah during the two-day event.
Boise State will close out its fall season with two concurrent events. The AVCA National Pairs Championship will begin on Nov. 15 in Huntsville, Alabama while the remainder of the team will head to the Best of the Rest Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona, hosted by Grand Canyon.
Entering her seventh season at the helm of the program, Voigt is coming off a program-record 31 victories and a runner-up finish at the Southland Conference Championship for the second year in a row.
