BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's soccer defeated Idaho 3-1 after trailing going into halftime, Sunday afternoon.

The Vandals (4-3-0) were first on the scoreboard with a goal in the 28th minute and led 1-0 at halftime.

The Broncos (4-1-0) came out of halftime fired up, scoring all three goals in the final half.

Carly Cross was first, taking the shot with her left foot to bury it in the upper left corner in the 52nd minute. She received the ball from Kayla Soderstrom after a blocked shot attempt.

In the 57th minute, Morgan Padour took a pass from Sophie Schmautz, then fired the ball to the back of the net from about 25 yards out.

Jillian Anderson took a free kick from almost the same spot as Padour's goal, scoring unassisted in the 79th minute to extend the Broncos' lead to 3-1.

Carly Cross knocked in her third goal of the season, 14th of her career.
Morgan Padour scored her third goal of the season and eighth of her career.
Jillian Anderson recorded her second-season and career goal.

The Broncos earned their 14th victory over Idaho, leading the all-time series 14-5-2.
Genevieve Crenshaw is now tied for first in program history for goalkeeper wins. She shares the record with Janelle Flores (2014-17) at 30 wins.
Morgan Padour set a new individual season high for goals scored with three.
Sophie Schmautz recorded her first-career assist.

Boise State will host Utah Tech on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. and Southern Utah on Sunday, Sept. 15 at noon. Both contests will be held at Boas Soccer Complex and will be broadcast on the MW Network.
