Pasco, Thompson Lead Broncos to Blowout Victory

BOISE, Idaho – Natalie Pasco and Tatum Thompson combined for 51 points to lead Boise State women's basketball to a dominant victory over San Jose State, 93-64, Wednesday at ExtraMile Arena.
Pasco finished with a season-high 26 points in the victory, marking her third consecutive game scoring over 20+ points. Thompson recorded her second-straight double-double, recording a career-high 25 points and pulling down 12 boards. Boise State has recorded three consecutive games with two players scoring 20+ points.
The Broncos (13-6, 3-3 Mountain West) held the Spartans (8-11, 1-5 MW) to 35.5 % shooting in the contest, while the Blue and Orange converted 48.1% of its attempts. Boise State outrebounded San Jose State 45-35 in the win.
Thompson started the engine for the squad, netting eight points in the first five minutes as Boise State raced out to a 16-4 lead. The Broncos made 11 of their 23 attempts from the floor in the opening frame to hold a 27-16 advantage after the first 10 minutes of action.
Dani Bayes drilled a pair of 3-pointers to open the second quarter to help the Broncos extend their lead by 16 at the media break. Pasco contributed five points to end the quarter as Boise State held a 42-27 halftime lead.
Pasco exploded again in the third quarter, totaling 11 points in the stanza. The junior's nine points spurred a 13-2 run midway through the period as Boise State led 64-44 entering the final frame.
