WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State women's basketball will return to ExtraMile Arena to take on New Mexico on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The contest will tip off at 6:30 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network and 670 KBOI AM.

WHAT'S AT STAKE: The Lobos (13-8, 6-2 MW) enter the game tied for second place in the league standings, while the Broncos (14-7, 4-4 MW) are two games back and in a three-way tie for fifth place. Boise State has won its last three matchups against New Mexico, and boasts a 10-3 all-time record within the confines of ExtraMile Arena.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: New Mexico is coming off a 13-point home loss to Fresno State. The Lobos are led by the two-headed backcourt attack of Destinee Hooks and Vianè Cumber, who average 17.3 ppg and 16.5 ppg, respectively. Cumber specifically is deadly from long range, leading the league in total 3-pointers (55) and 3-pointers per game (2.6).

DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE: Tatum Thompson finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds against Colorado State on Tuesday, marking her fourth consecutive game with a double-double. The junior became the first Bronco to tally four-straight double-doubles since Shalen Shaw did so in the 2015-16 season. In league play, the Woodinville, Wash., native is ranked third among MW players in rebounds per game (8.8), fifth in field goal percentage (48.8%) and 14th in points per game (13.6).

IT TAKES A TEAM: The Broncos average 29.6 bench points per game, good for the 10th-best mark in the nation. The Broncos have scored 20+ bench points in all but three games, have scored 30+ points from their reserves in 10 games, and have totaled 40+ bench points in five contests.

LET IT FLY: Boise State's been lighting it up from beyond the arc. Mya Hansen has hit multiple 3-pointers in each of the last six contests, the longest streak of her career. Dani Bayes has made seven 3-pointers in her last three contests, while Natalie Pasco currently leads the conference in 3-point percentage (40.8%).

CONVERTING AT THE LINE: The Broncos have been incredibly efficient from the charity stripe this season. Boise State is shooting 79.5% (105-of-132) from the free throw line through eight conference games, well above the program record for free throw percentage (74.7%) in league play set during the 1988-89 season. Six players are shooting above 80% from the line on the season – Teryn Gardner (100%), Hansen (89.3%), Milly Sharp (87.5%), Pasco (85.7%), Mary Kay Naro (85.7%) and Thompson (84.4%).
