Broncos to Compete at ITA Mountain Region Championships

WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State men's tennis team returns to Las Vegas, Nevada, to compete in the ITA Mountain Region Championships, Oct. 15-20.

REPRESENTING BOISE STATE: Nine Broncos will compete in singles and doubles action. In singles, Stewart Aronson, Carson Baker, Adam Duda, Taiyo Kurata, Julius Seifert, Michael Seversen, Filip Soderqvist, Avery Tallakson and Lukas Velik are entered. Seversen will begin in the qualifying draw, while the others have secured spots in the main draw. In doubles, Boise State will field three pairs: Aronson/Soderqvist, Duda/Velik and Kurata/Seifert.

ON THE LINE: The Broncos have a chance to qualify for the ITA Sectional Championships in Berkeley, Calif., Nov. 6-9, with strong performances. Additionally, the two singles finalists and the doubles champions will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 18-23

LAST TIME OUT: Boise State split earlier this month at the MW Fall Qualifiers and the San Diego Veterans Classic. The weekend was highlighted by Baker and Tallakson winning the doubles title at the MW Fall Qualifiers, earning them a berth in the ITA Conference Masters. Across both events, the Broncos tallied 30 total wins.
