Boise State Begins Indoor Track and Field Season in Boston

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State track and field begins its indoor season with Kaiya Robertson and Alex Thompson competing in the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, Saturday.
Robertson and Thompson will participate as individuals in a 3k. Taking place at the Track & Tennis Center on the campus of Boston University, the women's and men's 3k begins at 1 p.m. MT and 11:55 a.m. MT, respectively.
In her collegiate career, Robertson has competed in a 3k eight times. She posted a personal-best time of 9:24.46 at the 2023 Husky Classic.
This will be Thompson's first race since competing in the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships. In his Boise State career, Thompson has yet to compete in a 3k.
