WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Boise State saw its seven-match win streak come to an end on Friday as the 32nd-ranked Broncos fell 4-1 at Purdue. The loss moved Boise State to 7-2 overall and 2-1 versus the Big Ten Conference on the year.
 
After dropping the team doubles point 2-0, the Broncos headed into singles, needing to win four of the six contests.
 
Unfortunately, the lone victory came from Jett Middleton at No. 1 singles, where he won in three sets 6-1, 1-6, 6-1.

Notables

  • Jett Middleton – ranked 92nd nationally – won his 12th singles match of the year and his 30th as a Bronco. He is 5-2 at No. 1 singles this spring.
  • Carson Baker's first set went to a tiebreaker, making it four straight sets he had gone to a tiebreaker.
