SENIOR (2024-25)

  • Notable Statistics & Rankings: Finished senior campaign with a 15-15 singles record and went 3-1 in league play...in doubles, he was 11-15 overall.
  • Fall: Went 4-3 in singles and 4-2 in doubles…competed in two tournaments during the fall…went 2-1 in doubles play with James Van Herzeele at the Chowder Fest (Sept. 20-22) in Boston…went 3-1 in singles at the ITA Mountain Region Championship and advanced to the doubles quarterfinal round with Van Herzeele.
  • Spring: Was 12-8 in singles during the team dual season, splitting time between the No. 5 and 6 positions...went 3-1 in MW play...defeated No. 5 Virginia's (Jan. 25) No. 5 6-3, 6-2, during the opening round of the ITA Kickoff...beat VCU's (Jan. 26) No. 5 player in straight sets 6-4, 6-0 during Boise State's ITA Kickoff consolation match win...won in straight sets over 49th-ranked Washington's (March 1) No. 5, 6-3, 6-2 to help Broncos to victory...in doubles, Chin went 7-10 while playing with numerous partners, primarily at the no. 3 position.   

JUNIOR (2023-24)

  • Notable Statistics & Rankings: Recorded a singles record of 18-12 overall (t-3rd on team for wins) and a doubles mark of 9-13.
  • Fall: Competed in two fall tournaments going a combined 4-3 in singles at the San Diego Hidden Duals (Oct. 13-15) and the SMU Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge (Nov. 3-5).
  • Spring: Went 14-9 in singles and 14-7 in dual matches playing primarily on courts five (6-3) and six (7-4)...11 of his 14 victories were in straight sets...picked up big wins at No. 19 Michigan State (Feb. 2), at No. 23 Arizona State (March 1), versus VCU (March 3)...went 3-2 in conference play with wins versus UNLV (April 12), Nevada (April 14) and New Mexico (April 20)...tallied an 8-7 mark in doubles with a 6-7 record in team duals...went 5-4 while paired with James Van Herzeele, they saw time at all three positions.

SOPHOMORE (2022-23)

  • Transferred to Boise State during the winter break. 
  • Honors: Academic All-Mountain West.
  • Notable Statistics & Rankings: Recorded a 14-9 overall singles while going 5-15 in doubles…tallied 19 combined wins.
  • Spring: Saw action in 25 team duals primarily at the No. 4 and 5 positions where he went a combined 12-5 (9-4 at No. 5), went 14-6 overall...during doubles play he went 4-10 in team duals playing predominately with Caden Moortgat on courts one and two.

FRESHMAN (2021-22 at Middle Tennessee)

  • Honors: C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal.
  • Notable Statistics & Rankings: Finished the year going 14-6 in singles and 6-10 in doubles…20 combined wins.
  • Fall: Played freshman season for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders…recorded a 6-6 record in singles…went 2-1 in the Dale Short Shootout…1-1 at the ITA DI Ohio Valley Regional Championship…2-1 at the Clemson Hidden Duals… tallied a 3-10 mark in doubles.
  • Spring: Registered a perfect 8-0 record in singles playing at the 4-6 positions, went 5-0 at No. 4 singles, 1-0 at No. 5 and 2-0 at No. 6…filled in for an injured Chris Edge in the C-USA Championship first-round match against UAB, winning in both doubles and singles…3-0 in doubles while competing with three different partners.
