WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State women's golf team will start the 2025 portion of the season at Mountain Classic Match Play, competing Feb. 10-12. The event will be played at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. Matches begin at 11 a.m. MT each day.

THE FIRST ROUND PAIRINGS: Boise State vs. Portland State, Seattle vs. Montana State, Northern Arizona vs. Wyoming, North Dakota State vs. St. Thomas.

LINEUP AND FORMAT: Annie Buffolino, Jillian Hui, Hannah Lim, Teal Matsueda and Brooke Patterson will compete in Boise State's lineup for match play. Each golfer will have a head-to-head match against an opposing team's golfer each round. Lineups will be selected by head coaches before each match. Matches will play out through 18 holes, if needed, with no time limit. No extra holes will be played and half points will be awarded if the matches end in a tie. If the team matches end in a tie, the tiebreaker will be determined by the largest margin of victory for all matches combined. Emily Cadwell, Macee Greenwood and Zoe Parker will also represent the Broncos, competing as individuals.

LAST TIME ON THE LINKS: The Broncos concluded the fall with a record-breaking effort at The Clash at Boulder Creek. Boise State fired an 846 (-18), the lowest three-round score in program history. The Blue and Orange also set the school record for best two-round score (566, -10). Jillian Hui and Brooke Patterson tied for ninth at 210 (-6), the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history.

LAST YEAR'S MOUNTAIN CLASSIC MATCH PLAY: Boise State finished fourth in the 2024 edition of Mountain Classic Match Play. The Broncos defeated Portland State, 3-0-2, in the first round behind wins from Leia Chung, Greenwood and Matsueda. Matsueda also recorded a win in the consolation final against Wyoming. On the individual side, Buffolino and Lim each earned a pair of victories.

FIRST TEE IDAHO PARTNERSHIP: On Nov. 26, 2024, Boise State Athletics and First Tee Idaho announced a community partnership. The partnership follows FTI's acquisition of Pierce Park Greens, a 27-acre par-three golf course located in Northwest Boise, now named First Tee – Idaho's Pierce Park Greens. Boise State men's and women's golfers will have full access to Pierce Park Greens as a home to practice and develop. FTI plans to improve the course and facilities in order to better serve the community and its young athletes with a commitment to keep Pierce Park Greens open to the public.
