BOISE, Idaho – Lukas Velik's straight-set win at No. 3 singles clinched the match for Boise State as the Broncos defeated Santa Clara 4-1 on Tuesday. It was Boise State's fifth-consecutive victory as the 42nd-ranked Broncos improved to 13-4 overall.

The match was delayed five times because of rain on Monday in Santa Clara, California, and eventually postponed. On Tuesday, it was relocated to San Luis Obispo, California, to complete.
