Boise State Men’s Golf to Compete in Oregon Duck Invitational

WHAT'S NEXT: Beginning Monday, Boise State men's golf will compete in the 35th annual Oregon Duck Invitational, taking place at the Eugene Country Club (Eugene, Ore.). Spanning two days (March 24-25), the 54-hole event begins with an 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun start each day.
INVITATIONAL OVERVIEW: Hosted by the University of Oregon, all participants will play 36 continuous holes on Day 1 before finishing with the third round on Tuesday. A par 71 course, Eugene Wong (Oregon) holds the tournament record, shooting a 202 (-11) in 2018.

LAST TIME OUT: Collectively, the Broncos finished in a second-place tie (877, +25) at the Bandon Dunes Collegiate (March 9-11) behind nationally-ranked Ore gon. Gavyn Knight (210, -3) placed third overall, while Cole Rueck (219, +6) notched his fourth top-10 finish of the 2024-25 campaign.
RUECK OFF TO IMPRESSIVE SPRING START: Cole Rueck has already recorded first-place finishes in two events. He won the Genesis Collegiate Showcase at Torrey Pines for the second-straight year while also claiming victory at the Loyola Intercollegiate.
THE SQUAD: Head Coach David Trainor has an experienced squad this season with only one true freshman on the roster. His team features defending conference champion Cole Rueck, along with three members of the lineup from last season's conference championships: Luke Cushman, Ryan Meyer and Will O'Connor.
THE FIELD: Oregon (host), Boise State, Cincinnati, Colorado State, CSU Fullerton, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Little Rock, Oregon State, Saint Mary's, San Jose State, Southern Illinois, UTEP, Washington and Wyoming.
THE LINEUP: Cole Rueck, Gavyn Knight, Reese Knox, Ryan Meyer and Luke Cushman.
