BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's tennis won its ninth match of the season with a dominating performance over Utah Tech on Senior Day, defeating the Trailblazers 6-1 at the Appleton Tennis Center. With the victory, the Broncos improved to 9-2 overall.

The Broncos claimed the team doubles point 2-0 behind victories by Zdena Safarova and Maya Dutta on court one, 6-1, and Ryan Kershner and Lorelyz Marruffo on court two, 6-2.

Leading by one heading into singles, the Broncos swept the first five matches completed to clinch the win. Leading the way was Safarova at No. 1 singles, where she rolled to a straight-set victory 6-3, 6-2, followed by Masa Viriant, who claimed the second win at No. 6 singles, winning 6-3, 6-4 to put the Broncos up 3-0.

Dutta clinched the team victory when she defeated Ana Sampere Gutierrez 6-0, 7-6(1) on court two, giving the Broncos the win up 4-0 with three matches to go.

Bhakti Shah added to the victory margin with a 6-1, 6-4 win on court three, while Ari Briones Ginesta won 6-2, 7-5 on court five.
