
Boise State Athletics’ Samantha Wade Recognized with National Award

Assistant AD for Performance Nutrition honored for achieving undeniable impact in field
The American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA) announced today that Samantha Wade, Boise State assistant athletic director for performance nutrition, was recognized with the ASPDA Outstanding Early Career Achievement Award which recognizes a sports dietitian, with two-six years of experience, in sports and performance nutrition who displays an outstanding commitment to excellence and professional growth. The awards were announced during the ASPDA 17th Annual Conference on May 15 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
"Sam's impact at Boise State has been nothing short of transformational," said Marc Paul, Associate Athletic Director, Sports Performance, Health & Wellness. "Her dedication to athlete well-being, her pursuit of innovation in performance nutrition, and her tireless work ethic have elevated our entire program. This national recognition is a well-deserved reflection of the excellence she brings to our department every day."
Wade joined the Boise State Sports Performance, Health and Wellness department in September 2021 and currently serves as an assistant athletic director of performance nutrition for all 18 sport programs, with an emphasis on football.
She is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the nutrition department that includes Bronco Fueling Stations at multiple venues, coordinating the Performance Nutrition Education Program, and serving as a resource for student-athletes, coaches and staff.
Wade received her Master of Nutrition Sciences from the University of Utah and Bachelor of Nutrition Sciences from Penn State University.
