Broncos Fall to Roadrunners 3-1 on Sunday

BOISE, Idaho – Despite a second half goal from Kenzie MacMillan, the Broncos fell to Cal State Bakersfield 3-1 at Boas Soccer Complex, Sunday. The loss moved Boise State's record to 2-1-2 overall.
 
Cal State Bakersfield opened the scoring in the 11th minute. The Roadrunners then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 44th minute just before the break when a shot from Cynthia Ramirez beat goalkeeper Ava De Leest.
 
In the 60th minute, MacMillan ran onto a cross from Asia Lawyer down the left side, driving into the box one-on-one with the goalkeeper. The redshirt senior sent a shot past the keeper into the net for her fourth goal of the season.
 
Cal State Bakersfield notched the third goal of the match in the 60th minute and held onto the lead to the end.
