Broncos Face Three Top 15 Teams at DeMarini Invitational

Boise State (6-5) travels to Northern California for its third straight trip to the Golden State...Broncos are slated to play three nationally-ranked teams at the DeMarini Invitational hosted by Stanford, Feb. 19-22.

Last Week
Broncos extended their winning streak to five by capturing games (Weber State and FDU) at the UCSD-USD Co-Host Tournament...lost twice to Southern Utah sandwiched around a setback to Omaha to close the weekend.

Boise State's 3-2 win over No. 14 Mississippi, Feb. 6 marked the highest-ranked opponent the Broncos have defeated all-time...Boise State set a school record with 16 runs in an inning (seventh) against CSUN, Feb. 7...sophomore Chloe Hughes became the first Bronco to reach base three times in an inning...tied school records for hits (22) and doubles (seven) against the Matadors.

Against No. 14 Mississippi, Feb. 6, Boise State recorded a triple play in the sixth inning (first in school history)...Hollie Farmer fielded a ground ball at third base, stepped on the bag and threw across the diamond to Kate Penberthy at first for the second out...Penberthy then threw to second baseman Skylar Stroh who tagged out the runner from first.
