SARATOGA, Calif. – Boise State fell behind early and dropped an 11-2 run-rule decision to No. 15 Arizona at the DeMarini Invitational, Thursday.

In a game played at West Valley College due to tournament-host Stanford's field being unplayable, the Wildcats (10-3) scored once in the first and six times in the second.

Boise State (6-6) pushed across a run in the bottom of the first to tie the game courtesy of four straight walks, the last to Skylar Stroh. Hollie Farmer followed with an infield single to give the Broncos a brief 2-1 lead.
