WHAT'S NEXT
Boise State men's tennis will host Idaho and Linfield for matches on Friday and Saturday at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. On Friday, the Broncos will face the Vandals at 5 p.m. MT and the Wildcats at 8 p.m. MT. On Saturday, Boise State will play Linfield at 2 p.m. MT and Idaho at 6 p.m. MT.

SCOUTING THE VANDALS
Idaho is on a two match win streak, boasting a 2-5 record. The Vandals collected a 7-0 win over George Fox on Jan. 25 and a 6-1 win over Lewis-Clark State on Jan. 31. This marks the Broncos' first dual match against the Vandals since Feb. 10, 2023 where Boise State won 6-1. Boise State has won the past three matchups, leading the all-time series 52-22 and 41-7 at home.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Linfield will open its season against Boise State. Last season, the Wildcats finished with a 4-15 overall record and 1-11 road record. This will mark the first matchup between the two programs.

MILESTONE WATCH
Taiyo Kurata and Avery Tallakson are two wins away from notching 15 singles victories on the season. As a pair, Carson Baker and Tallakson need two doubles wins to hit the 10-win milestone on the season.

ALL-MW RETURNER
Baker earned All-Mountain West distinctions in singles and doubles last season, marking the sole active Bronco to hold such honors on the 2026 roster.

THE ROSTER
Boise State's roster consists of seven returners (Baker, Adam Duda, Idriss Haddouch, Kurata, Julius Seifert, Michael Seversen and Lukas Velik), one transfer from Clemson (Stewart Aronson), another transfer from New Mexico (Talllakson) and one freshman (Filip Soderqvist).

REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Boise State has won five regular season conference titles all-time. The Broncos' first year as a member of a conference that played a regular season round robin was 2009 when they were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They went on to win that first WAC title and have since followed with three in the MW (2012, 2014, 2024 and 2025).

CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS
Since joining the conference for the 2012 campaign, the Broncos have won six MW tournament championships (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2023, 2024). Boise State has won 18 conference tournament titles overall in the program's history spanning four conferences: Big Sky (1974, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996), Big West (1997, 1999, 2000), Western Athletic (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007), and the six in the MW (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2023, 2024).

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS APPEARANCES
The Broncos have competed in 21 NCAA tournaments all-time, including the last three in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
