WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State continues competition with its second two-day tournament in as many weeks, playing in the Betsy Rawls Invitational, March 16-17. Hosted at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, the tournament will feature two rounds on Monday and the final round on Tuesday.
Â
THE FIELD: Boise State, Texas (host), Arkansas, BYU, Chattanooga, Harvard, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Pepperdine, Sam Houston State, TCU, Troy, UTSA.
Â
LAST TIME OUT: Teal Matsueda earned a career-best fifth-place finish, firing a 218 (+2) to lead Boise State to an eighth-place finish at the Juli Inkster Invitational. The Broncos fired a 902 (+38) as a team, with Leia Chung (224, +8) adding a 16th-place finish. Chung has 17-career top-25 finishes, tied for the eighth-most in program history. Matsueda has four-career top-10 finishes, including two this season.
Â
BACK LIKE SHE NEVER LEFT: Chung, a two-time Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week and the program's all-time leader in career scoring average, returned to competition at the Golfweek Fall Challenge after missing the 2024-25 season due to injury. She won the tournament, setting program and tournament records for a 54-hole score (199, -14). Chung finished nine strokes ahead of the field, tying the largest margin of victory in program history, set by Acey Erlandson in 1999.

Chung has three individual titles in her career, one shy of Samantha Martin's school record.

Downs recently signed a two-year contract extension, keeping her with the program through the 2028 season.
