Boise State to Wrap up Regular Season at Alki Invitational

WHAT'S NEXT:Â Boise State beach volleyball will conclude its regular season at the Alki Invitational. The two-day event will begin on Friday, April 17 and take place on Alki Beach in Seattle, Wash.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE:Â The Broncos (15-13) will kick off their weekend with a dual against Portland at 11 a.m. MT on Friday, before concluding the day against Oregon at 12:15 p.m. On Saturday, Boise State will look for revenge against No. 19 Washington at 12:15 p.m. before rounding out the weekend against No. 15 Florida Atlantic at 2:45 p.m.

FRIDAY'S SCOUTING REPORT:Â Portland enters the weekend with a 4-16 mark on the year and is currently on a 13-game losing streak. Oregon comes into the weekend with a 15-14 record and is coming off a 2-2 mark at the Hawai'i Senior Weekend. The Broncos own an undefeated all-time record against both squads, winning all six matchups with the Pilots and boasting a 20-0 all-time mark against the Ducks.

SATURDAY'S SCOUTING REPORT:Â Revenge will be on the squad's mind on Saturday, having lost to both programs earlier on the season. Washington is 16-11 on the season and is coming off a victory over the Blue and Orange at the Boise State Beach Bash, a win that vaulted the Huskies into the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll. Florida Atlantic is 17-11 on the season and enters the weekend after a perfect 4-0 record at the Capri Classic. Â
WEEKEND RECAP:Â The Broncos' home winning streak was snapped over the weekend at the Boise State Beach Bash, with consecutive losses to No. 11 Grand Canyon and Washington. Boise State finished 2-2 at the event.Â

BUILT FOR THE BIG 12:Â Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden were named the Big 12 Pair of the Week on Tuesday. The duo became the second Bronco pair to earn the honor this season after Avery Allen and Keira Demirjian earned the distinction on March 24. Boise State is one of three programs in the conference that have won multiple pair of the week awards, and one of two schools that have had two separate pairs receive the honor.
BLOCK PARTY: Alden launched a 'Block Party' fundraiser on Feb. 11 for every ace and/or block the sixth-year senior records on the season. The campaign asks donors to pledge a certain dollar amount for every ace or block that Alden records during the 2026 campaign, with all donations going towards BroncoBOLD. So far this season, Alden has recorded 60 aces and 61 blocks. Those interested in joining can sign up here.
