BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's tennis head coach Luke Shields announced the addition of Izan Orgiles to the Broncos' 2026-27 roster.

A native of Spain, Orgiles joins Boise State after two seasons at North Alabama. As a sophomore, he earned second-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference honors after totaling 22 combined victories. He posted an 11-6 singles record and an 11-5 doubles mark, tying for the team lead in doubles wins. Orgiles also put together a seven-match singles winning streak during the season.

In his freshman campaign, Orgiles was named Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Tennis Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the conference's All-Freshman Team. He finished the year with a 14-10 singles record and a 13-6 doubles record, establishing himself as one of the league's top young players.

"We are excited to add Izan to our team," Shields said. "His work ethic, attitude and professionalism stood out to us while recruiting. He's an all-in guy that will bring a program first mentality to the table. I am looking forward to working with him."

Orgiles currently holds a UTR rating of 12.26 and brings a strong track record of collegiate success to the Broncos lineup heading into the 2026-27 season.
