Men's Tennis Releases Fall 2026 Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's tennis head coach Luke Shields unveiled the complete 2026 fall men's tennis schedule on Thursday, which includes 10 tournaments.
"The schedule for the fall is great, we are using all four pathways to get into NCAA's," Shields said. "This is the first time in eight-plus years that we've qualified multiple players for the All-American Championships. We are also hosting a great tournament, Dar Walters. This tournament is becoming a favorite for every team in the region. We also go to one of the more prestigious tournaments in the country, Battle in the Bay."
The fall season will kick off at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's All-American Champions in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sept. 19-27. Stewart Aronson, Arsene Pougault, Filip Soderqvist and Avery Tallakson were selected by the ITA to represent the Broncos. 10 players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championships and five doubles teams will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championships held Nov. 17-22.Â
On Sept. 25-27, Boise State will host its annual Dar Walters Classic tournament at Appleton Tennis Center.Â
At the start of October, the Broncos will travel to San Francisco, California for the Battle in the Bay Classic, Oct. 1-4.Â
Following their trip to California, the ITA Mountain Regional Championships will take place from Oct. 6-10, hosted by BYU in Provo, Utah. The top two singles players and the doubles team champions will automatically advance to the NCAA National Championships.
After the ITA Mountain Regional Championships, Boise State will participate in its first Pac-12 Conference Tournament Oct. 23-25 in Spokane, Washington. The Blue and Orange will also travel to Las Vegas, Nevada for the ITF M25 Las Vegas Tournament Oct. 26-31.Â
Select players will also be eligible to compete in the ITA West Sectional Championships, Nov. 5-8, where they have a chance to advance to the national championships. The tournament combines the Mountain, Northwest and Southwest regions and will be hosted in Tempe, Ariz. The top six players will qualify for nationals, along with three doubles teams.Â
In addition to the two major competitions in November, the Broncos will send select student-athletes to participate in the Gonzaga tournament and the ITA Conference Masters Nov. 5-8.Â
November will feature three national events: ITA West Sectional Champions and ITA Conference Masters Nov. 5-8, and the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships Nov. 17-22.
