Broncos Cruise to Exhibition Victory

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's basketball scored the first 17 points of the game and cruised to a 95-34 exhibition victory Thursday, against West Coast Baptist. Derrick Alston led the way with 16 points, one of five Broncos to score in double figures.
Alston added seven rebounds and a game-high six assists. He was joined in double figures by Robin Jorch (15), RayJ Dennis (14), RJ Williams (14) and Justinian Jessup (11). Williams hauled in 11 rebounds for a double-double.
The Broncos led 51-17 at halftime, thanks to 53.7 percent shooting from the field and 17 points off of 15 Eagles turnovers.
Boise State opens the regular season Tuesday, against Life Pacific. It is part of a season-opening doubleheader as Boise State women's basketball hosts Lewis-Clark State at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at approximately 8 p.m. All fans who arrive to the women's game before halftime will receive free admission to the men's game.
Season tickets and mini plans for Boise State men's basketball are available now and can be purchased at BroncoSports.com/tickets. Season tickets start at $175 per seat. This year's mini plans feature five weekend games for $90 per seat.
