Broncos Head to Colfax for NCAA West Regional

BOISE, Idaho – Both of the Boise State cross country teams are headed to the NCAA West Regional, Nov. 15, hosted by Washington State in Colfax, Wash.

Last year both squads finished in the top three at the west regional giving the women an automatic qualifying bid while the men would receive an at-large bid to the national championships.

LOGISTICS: The NCAA West Regional will be hosted by Washington State University and run at Colfax Golf Club, in Colfax, Wash.

LAST TIME OUT: The Broncos women and men finished third and fourth, respectively at the Mountain West Championships in Logan, Utah. For the women, Yukino Parle paced the team and earned her first-career First-Team All-Mountain West award. Joining her on the men's side with first-team honors is redshirt senior Miler Haller, who now has two-career first-team selections.

Boise State also had four runners named to All-Mountain West Second Team. On the men's side, it was Ahmed Muhumed and Elijah Armstrong while Maxine Paholek and Olivia Johnson were the women's representatives.
