Boise State men's basketball faces its first road test of the 2019-20 season Saturday, at No. 15/14 Oregon. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. PT/9 p.m. MT, at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. The radio call of the game will be available locally on 93.1 FM KTIK, and online through TuneIn.

AGAINST THE DUCKS: Saturday marks the 11th all-time meeting between Boise State and Oregon, and the sixth in the last five seasons. The Broncos are 2-8 all-time against the Ducks, winning two of the last five. Boise State picked up its first road win in the series Dec. 1, 2017, thanks to a half-court shot at the final buzzer from Lexus Williams. The teams played twice last year - once on each home floor - with Oregon winning each game.

VS RANKED OPPONENTS: Oregon enters the game ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll. It is Boise State's 30th game against a ranked opponent in Leon Rice's 10 years at the helm, including 12 ranked non-conference opponents. The Broncos are 8-51 all-time against ranked foes. Two of Boise State's three all-time road wins over ranked teams have come during Rice's tenure.

RECORD-BREAKING OPENER: Boise State opened its season Tuesday, with a 126-49 win against Life Pacific. The 126 points and 77-point margin of victory are both single-game school records. The Broncos' previous record for scoring was 118, set Jan. 25, 1971, against Portland State.

ALSTON HONORED: Boise State redshirt junior Derrick Alston, Jr. was selected to the All-Mountain West Preseason Team, as voted on by media members who cover the conference. Alston was an honorable mention selection last season after averaging 13.4 points per game, including a team-best 16 points per game in Mountain West play.

RECORDS LOOMING: Justinian Jessup enters Saturday's game with 231 career three-pointers - No. 5 in Boise State history. Jessup needs 45 more triples this season to break Anthony Drmic's career record of 275. With 69 three-pointers, Jessup will become the first player in Mountain West history to reach 300. The conference's current record holder is BYU's Jimmer Fredette (2007-11) with 296. Jessup has made at least 87 each of the last two seasons.
