NAMPA, Idaho – Boise State track and field opened its 2019 indoor season with three first-place individual finishes and a second-place finish for the men's 4x400-meter relay team, at the Jackson's Open in Nampa, Idaho, Saturday.

Senior Kendra Noneman logged first victory of the year, out throwing her nearest competitor by nearly a meter. In her first appearance in the 600-meters at Boise State, sophomore MeLeigha Menegatti took the gold with a time of 1:32.62.

In the men's 800m, redshirt-junior Israel Anaya-Carmona secured the win, outpacing his closest opponent by 14 seconds with a time of 1:55.84.

In the last event of the day in the men's 4x400m relay, the Bronco men ran a time of 3:16.79 to log a second-place finish.

Boise State will resume action in the New Year with another home meet, the Bronco Invite, Jan. 18 at Jackson's Indoor Track, in Nampa, Idaho.
