Rain Washes Out Final Round of Husky Invitational

BREMERTON, Wash. – Heavy rain forced the cancellation of the third and final round at the Husky Invitational, Tuesday.
Boise State placed ninth at 8-over (293-291-584). The Broncos finished ahead of Mountain West opponent New Mexico, Washington State from the Pac-12 and in state rival Idaho.
Junior Skyler Eubank finished the 36-hole, rain-shortened event tied for 17th at 1-under (71-72-143). It was his second-straight top-25 finish to open the season the 11th of his career.
Senior Brian Humphreys (71-75-146) and sophomore Hugo Townsend (76-70-146) finished in a tie for 32nd. Senior Joe Neuheisel tied for 54th at 6-over (75-75-150) and sophomore Cameron Barzekoff was tied for 59th at 7-over (77-74-151).
The Broncos will take two weeks off before participating in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational in Fairfax, Calif., Oct. 7-8.
