Broncos' Senior Day victory extends home win streak to 27 straight.
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's swimmers cruised to victory over Washington State Saturday morning by a 192-60 score. The win saw Boise State claim first-place in 13 of the 14 events raced as the Broncos extended their home win streak to 27 straight, a streak that stretches 11 years. They also improved to 6-2 in duals this season as they head into the Mountain West Conference Championships Feb. 19-22 in Minneapolis.
"We had a really successful day, Washington State is a good team and we beat them handily," said head coach Christine Mabile. "This win was really important for building our confidence. We were also able to get some season-best times today in a dual meet which will also help our confidence as we head into the conference meet."
Mabile on the senior class, "They've been really great leaders this season. They've spent a lot of time just investing in each other and the younger athletes before they leave. It's great to see them building those relationships and enjoying each other's company, setting an  example for what this program is all about."
