ABOUT THE REBELS: UNLV is 15-14 on the year, and 10-6 in Mountain West play, fresh off handing San Diego State its first loss of the season. The Rebels have won four of their last five games, with the only setback coming in overtime against Nevada. Bryce Hamilton leads four Rebels scoring in double figures. Hamilton is averaging 15.5 points per game and is the reigning Mountain West Player of the Week. Hamilton was coming off the same weekly award the last time the Broncos and Rebels met.

SERIES HISTORY: Boise State leads the all-time series, 10-9. The Broncos have won eight of the last 11 meetings, including a 73-66 win in Boise earlier this year (Jan. 8). Last year's meeting in Las Vegas went to overtime, before UNLV prevailed 85-81.

THE CREAM RISES: Boise State earned its 11th Mountain West win of the season Sunday. The Broncos have won at least 11 league games in five of the last six seasons. In the nine years Boise State has been a member of the Mountain West, San Diego State is the only other league school to record five seasons with at least 11 conference wins. One more league victory would give Boise State 12 conference wins for the fourth time in the last six seasons. The Broncos are also seeking a fifth top-three finish in the last six seasons.

A CLUB TO HIMSELF: Justinian Jessup is much more than the Mountain West's all-time three-point leader. Jessup became the only player in Boise State history to amass at least 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, 150 steals and 50 blocked shots in his career. Jessup is Boise State's eighth all-time leading scorer, ranks seventh in steals and is approaching the top 10 for rebounds, assists and blocks.
