THE OPPONENT

Montana State will enter this weekend's matchup with a record of 0-5. The Bobcats are a familiar opponent for the Blue and Orange, as the pair have met four of the last five seasons. The Broncos are 4-0 in those matches, including a 7-0 sweep the last time these two met on Feb. 15, 2020, in Boise

LAST TIME OUT

Boise State welcomed back fans for the first time this season March 13 in a dominating 7-0 win over the College of Idaho. The team's first outdoor home match of the year saw them sweep the doubles point and win all six singles courts in straight sets to down the Yotes.

STATS TO WATCH FOR

This is the second-straight season the Broncos have begun the season 5-2. While much has been made of the Broncos doubles attack on the year, a great deal of their success can also be attributed to the team's combined 30-12 (.714) winning percentage in singles matches.

Five Broncos are currently on winning streaks of three matches, which offers a snapshot of the Broncos' recent success in singles play of late. Joana Baptista (6-1), Pauline Ernstberger (5-1) and Nicole Discenza (4-1) hold the team's top three records of Broncos with at least five singles matches played, and have been big contributors in Boise State's wins this season.

AT THE HELM

Beck Roghaar is in his eleventh year in charge of the Broncos and has led his teams to winning records in seven of those seasons. The 2011 WAC Coach of the Year holds a 115-95 record and has had nine teams named to the ITA All-Academic Team.
