MISSOULA, Mont. – In a match that sat scoreless until the second half Boise State women's soccer fell to Montana 1-0 on the road in Missoula Sunday afternoon.
The Bronco defense held solid for most of the match, but a goal in the 64th minute from the Grizzlies' Bella O'Brien proved to be the difference maker. Despite leading Montana 10-9 in shots, Boise State was unable to get a ball through to the back of the net.
Boise State has dropped its last two matches after starting the season 5-0. One more nonconference match remains as the Blue and Orange host CSU Bakersfield next Friday at Boas Soccer Complex before hitting the road to being Mountain West play.
