WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State (6-2-0/0-0-0 MW) begins Mountain West play on the road at UNLV (7-2-0/0-0-0 MW) and Nevada (1-6-0/0-0-0 MW) this Friday and Sunday respectively. These will be the first of four-straight road matches for the Blue and Orange to begin MW play.

LAST TIME OUT: The Broncos wrapped up their nonconference slate with a 4-1 win over CSU Bakersfield at home last Friday. The match was the third time this season Boise State has scored four goals. In each of those games the goals were scored by four different players. This time around it was Morgan Stone, Reese Bodas, Jocelyn Stephens and Aubree Chatterton doing the damage. Bodas' and Stephens' goals were the first of their respective careers.

BRING ON CONFERENCE PLAY: Boise State was picked to finish third in the MW Preseason Coaches poll, and that is exactly how it stands entering the first weekend of matches. After finishing the nonconference schedule with a record of 6-2-0 the Broncos find themselves behind Utah State (7-1-1) and UNLV (7-2-0), and ahead of both New Mexico (5-2-0) and San Diego State (2-6-0), the two teams picked to finish above Boise State. One stat to note is Boise State has not lost a conference-opener since 2014 when they fell 2-0 at Air Force.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Fifth-year forward Chatterton is chasing history this season. Last week's goal against CSU Bakersfield was the 14th of her career, putting her one goal away from becoming a top-10 goalscorer in Boise State history. The goal also gave her 38 career points, tying her for ninth all-time in program history alongside Abbe Roche and Baylee Blaser.

SCOUTING THE REBELS: The Rebels were only picked to finish fifth when the Mountain West Preseason Coaches Poll was released, but their strong showing in nonconference play says they may be a better team than many thought heading into the season.

Some notable results from the Rebels include a 3-2 win over UC Davis and a 2-1 loss to Dixie State. Boise State has also played both of these opponents, beating UC Davis 1-0 and Dixie State 4-0.

UNLV has a strong ability score goals, averaging over two per game thus far. Two key players to focus on are Marcella Brooks (3g, 2a) and Lourdes Bosch (2g, 3a) who lead the team in points with eight and seven.

Boise State is unbeaten in its last eight meetings with UNLV. Last season the two teams faced off twice, producing a 0-0 draw in Las Vegas and a 1-0 Boise State victory in Boise.

SCOUTING THE WOLF PACK: The Wolf Pack are 1-6-0 entering the weekend and is currently in the middle of a five-game losing streak. Before facing Boise State this Sunday Nevada play MW-leading Utah State Friday.

Trinity Sandridge is the key offensive player for Nevada having scored two of her team's five goals this season. Her two goals and an assist make her the team-leader in points this season with five.

Boise State has won nine straight matches over Nevada dating back to 2013. The Broncos own the all-time series over the Wolf Pack 20-2-1. The last five matches between the two teams have each been decided by only one goal.
